To sign up for Twitch Prime, players will need an Amazon Prime and Twitch account. They can link their accounts together in Twitch to immediately start enjoying the benefits. As a bonus, those who have a streamer they particularly like can offer them a Twitch subscription.
Players can subscribe to Twitch Prime for a month and then cancel their Amazon Prime subscriptions, but can keep their claimed games, unlike other game subscription services. Previously, the free versions of Twitch Prime were: ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove, Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter, Hover, When Ski Lifts Go Wrong, and Hue. Enter the Gungeon, Ape Out, Witcheye, Heave Ho and Gato Roboto now join the range of free games for December. Twitch Prime Adds Additional Five Free Games For Subscribers
Enter the Gungeon, in particular, has an “extremely positive” critical score on Steam. The abstract says: “Enter the Gungeon is a robot to explore the dungeons of hell following a gang of misfits seeking to shoot, loot, dodge the roll and return to the table until absolution personal by reaching the ultimate treasure of the legendary Gungeon: the weapon that can kill the past. Select a hero [or team up in cooperation] and fight your way to the bottom of the Gungeon by surviving a series of difficult and evolving stages filled with dangerously adorable Gundead and formidable Gungeon bosses armed to the teeth. ”
ToeJam & EArrl: Back in the Groove is the fourth entry in the series. This is a new version of an old game from the early 1990s. The new game was released in February 2019 and now offers online multiplayer and nine different playable characters. For those who played the original games, there are many references to the old titles. While the games are currently free, Twitch Prime members should step in and claim their free games while they are available.
